The UI Developer will need to share our passion for craftsmanship in software design and development and continuous improvement in the techniques, tools and languages we use; as well as have an appreciation for business objectives and delivering superior, innovative software solutions. &#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;You&#x26;#x2019;ll be responsible for:&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Work on UI story cards within product orientated Agile teams&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Use local builds and continuous integration systems to delivery changes for testing&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Ensure LP UI Standards are complied with&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Leave the code in a better state that you found it in&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Pair with Designers and Developers to ensure sound and efficient approach to development.&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Actively seek and suggest better way of doing things&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Provide Thought Leadership by keeping up to date with latest technologies, trends and standards (blogs, training), and disseminating to others&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Communicate and consult with other UI developers on changes that are &#x26;#x2018;Global&#x26;#x2019; i.e. something that will effect more than on application.&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Troubleshoot production UI issues&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;strong&#x3E;Requirements&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;We&#x26;#x2019;re looking for someone with experience with Agile methodology and working within Agile development teams. You&#x26;#x2019;ll have strong understanding of web standards, accessibility (WCAG1/2) and usability.&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;- Strong understanding of XHTML, including semantic mark-up and validation &#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Extensive knowledge of CSS, including CSS driven layout and debugging for rapid development; experience with development tools such as Firebug &#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Strong Working Knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., jQuery, prototype) &#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, with a strong knowledge of all LP supported browsers. (IE, Firefox, Safari)&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Understanding and practical application of SEO and browser-side performance considerations.&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Experience with User-Centred Design&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Strong experience in an interactive media design environment&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - &#x22;Production ready&#x22; user interface development experience&#x3C;br /&#x3E; - Strong written and verbal communications skills&#x3C;/p&#x3E;</description>
